What Could be Causing Your Insomnia?

Imagine you’re lying in bed trying to sleep. But there are a dozen small stones on top of you. It’s uncomfortable, right? You feel like you can’t move without the stones falling off and there’s no way you’ll be able to sleep.


Each of those stones represent a possible reason why you can’t sleep. Things like:

  • the wrong diet for you

  • blood sugar problems

  • food sensitivities

  • over or under-exercise

  • pathogens in your gut

  • drugs (recreational, prescription, over-the-counter)

  • toxins and heavy metals

  • mental stress

  • your thoughts about sleep

  • hormone imbalance

  • not absorbing nutrients

  • detoxification problems


The lab testing I do looks for all of the physical stones. That’s why I do 5 labs and not just 1. Let’s say you have a parasite and hormone imbalance. If we do the stool test and find a parasite but we don’t do the hormone test to uncover those imbalances, we won’t fully solve your insomnia because we’ve eliminated only 1 of the stones. We need to find and address every stone that is contributing to your sleeplessness.
