Client case study: how Andrew went from sleeping poorly since age 14 to sleeping great
My client Andrew came to me after sleeping poorly for over 10 years, since he was 14 years old! It would take him 9 hours to get 5-6 hours of sleep.
In the last year, his sleep deteriorated even more. He was only getting 4-5 hours a night and he was ready for a change. He also had stomach issues and worried about sleep all the time.
His lab tests showed that he had:
High cortisol at bedtime
Pathogens in his gut (H. pylori and candida)
I recommended that he avoid the foods he’s sensitive to and a few supplements for liver, mineral and gut support.
He started by making diet changes. This was hard for him at first. Being from Minnesota he ate a lot of dairy and the test showed that he was sensitive to dairy.
Within a few days, his stomach felt better.
Within a few weeks, he started sleeping better.
He even slept well on vacation when he used to sleep worse while traveling.
Now he sleeps at least 7 hours a night.
He has more energy. He has more time because he isn’t spending hours in bed not sleeping. And he doesn’t worry about sleep anymore.
